Disability Insurance
Disability insurance provides a source of income in the event you become disabled through either illness, injury or pregnancy and are unable to perform your job. You are automatically enrolled upon hire if you are a benefits eligible employee.

Short Term Disability (STD)
Provides you with 100%* of your pre-disability income when you are unable to work due to a non-work related accident or illness for up to 26 weeks. For more information, please refer to the Summary Plan Description.
* Income continuation in states with statutory benefits is offset by any state benefits you are entitled to receive. Depending on where you live, you may be required to file an additional claim for state benefits – should you have clarifying questions, consult your UNUM leave specialist.
Long Term Disability (LTD)
This coverage provides a monthly source of income if you are unable to work due to a disability continuing beyond 26 weeks. This benefit provides 60% of your monthly salary up to a maximum of $20,000 per month. When enrolling, you will have the option of choosing to pay for your LTD coverage so that your LTD benefits will be tax free. For more information, please refer to the Summary Plan Description.
